  2.                         INDOOR FLEA MARKET INFORMATION

  4. The 1990 Rochester Hamfest indoor flea market will operate with a two-tier
  5. pricing system.  Please carefully read the following Flea Market Rules and
  6. Regulations:
  7.  
  8.    Pricing:  1 to 3 tables   $20.00 Each
  9.    Additional tables         $30.00 Each
  10.  
  11.    Example:
  12.    4 tables        3 Tables @ $20 = $60
  13.                    1 Table  @ $30 = $30
  14.                   ---------------------
  15.                    4 Tables Total = $90

  17. Table Assignment:
  18.  
  19. The location of each table purchased will be assigned by the Rochester
  20. Hamfest.  Requests for specific locations will be handled on a first
  21. come/space available basis.  When requesting multiple tables, please tell us
  22. the minimum number you will take in a single location.  WE CANNOT ACCEPT PHONE
  23. REQUESTS.

  26.  
  27. Friday, May 18      8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon setup
  28.                    12:00 noon -  9:00 p.m. open
  29. Saturday, May 19    6:00 a.m. -  7:00 a.m. setup
  30.                     7:00 a.m. -  5:30 p.m. open
  31. Sunday, May 20      7:00 a.m. -  2:00 p.m. open

  33. Set-up:
  34.  
  35. During set-up hours, ONLY those persons having a FLEA MARKET EXHIBITORS Badge
  36. will be allowed to enter the flea market.

  38. Security:

  40. The flea market building will be secured during non-show hours.  Rochester
  41. Hamfest cannot assume responsibility for any loss or theft of property.
  42.  
  43. Electricity:
  44.  
  45. Electrical service may be available for a limited number of tables.  Cost is
  46. $25 per single outlet (120V x 500W).
  47.  
  48. Sales Tax:
  49.  
  50. Sales tax is due and payable on all sales made in the flea market.  The rate
  51. in Monroe County where the convention is held is 7%.  For the convenience of
  52. those who are not registered in New York State, forms will be available at the
  53. Hamfest registration desk.

  55. General Rules and Regulations
  56.  
  57. 1.  Tables are NONTRANSFERABLE
  58.  
  59. 2.  Tables not CLAIMED or OCCUPIED by 10:00 a.m.  Saturday will be subject to
  60. resale unless prior arrangements have been made with the Flea Market Director
  61. for late arrival.  NO refunds will be issued.
  62.  
  63. 3.  Building rules prohibit attaching anything to the walls (i.e.  signs,
  64. posters, etc.).
  65.  
  66. 4.  Flea Market table requests can only be accepted by mail.  If you have a
  67. specific problem or special need, call the Hamfest office 716-424-7184 during
  68. business hours.
  69.  
  70. 5.  Commercial operators MUST use the Dome Center exhibit area.  The flea
  71. market is open only to non-commercial exhibitors (i.e.  those who are not in
  72. business).

  74. There will be NO space sales at the door.  Advance sale ONLY.  Mail space
  75. orders with checks payable to Rochester Hamfest.  Mail to:

  81. Outdoor space will be available as usual at $5.00 per parking space.  All flea
  82. market exhibitors must hold Hamfest registrations.
